Yeah, I know I said I was going to write some articles back in Sept. I've been really busy working on a couple of projects. I am planning on posting something before the holidays :) Either that, or I'm shutting this thing down again.
As of today, I am officially re-launching this blog. If you visited previously, you will notice some things have changed. First, I've given the layout a sexy overhaul. Second, I've removed all of the old blog posts.
Why did I remove the old posts? With the re-launch comes a new focus and the old posts no longer fit within that focus. When I initially launched the blog, my idea was that this would be a place for my everyday ramblings about my work and whatever else was on my mind. At the same time, I wanted to avoid techincal articles about my work. As time went on, I began to use Twitter more and more. I decided that Twitter really became the place for my day to day ramblings and this blog was left abandoned.
After a few months of neglect, I decided to bring the blog back with a renewed focus. The purpose of this blog going forward will be for me to share articles about my work in game audio. I want to share my experiences, philosophies and techniques. I'm planning to post an article about once a month and I will always announce when a new post is up via my Twitter account.
The first article will be about my experience recording tigers, bears, and lions.
Until then, I leave you with this:
